Interfaith wedding- Hindu/Christian

Lisa and Rohit were looking to honor the faith traditions of their respective families in their wedding Ceremony. When we met, they expressed concern about having either two separate ceremonies or a disjointed one. We discussed many of the traditions and rituals that would show respect to each family’s rich heritage. They made their final selections: Blessings from Family, a Sacred Space, Exchanging Garlands from and traditional Readings, Exchange of Vows and of Rings. Of course their Ceremony included aspects unique to them as a couple as well! In the end, one celebration of marriage was created that intertwined and flowed bringing not only two people together as one, but two families!
