Honoring Mothers at Your Wedding
Would you like to honor your mother at your wedding? You can personalize your wedding ceremony and create a heartfelt moment for her- whether she is attending your wedding, unable to or if she has passed. A simple but moving way during the ceremony is to present her with a rose or another flower of special significance, along with a kiss to the very one who gave you your first kiss!
If your mother is not able to attend the wedding, you can bring the wedding celebration to her by visiting sharing wedding cake, photos and giving her the rose. If that’s not possible, I can provide a beautiful keepsake document with her name, an image of a rose and the very words used in that part of your ceremony.
For mothers who have passed, ways of bringing them into your ceremony include placing the rose or a sign on an empty chair, having a small photo on a charm or in the lapel or the bridal bouquet. If you are considering a moment of remembrance, here are some other options. Have a tribute to the parent or a dedication to family instead. The tribute to parents includes all parents, mothers and fathers, whether in attendance, unable to attend or if they have passed. A dedication to family moment is similar, inclusive of all the family members. In such tender matters let your heart be your guide.
